Native Squash

Posted by Henry (Fall River, United States) on 15 September 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I do a fair amount of cooking in my home. Being part Native American, I also prepare a lot of native recipes. One native staple that we always have in our home is squash. The photo above shows three squash from the same variety of plant. They tend to run deep green to orange. I just love the way that light plays off the skin and the stalks. I wanted an Autumnish and earthy feel to the photograph.
