Three Cheese Baked Ziti with Italian Sausage

On Saturday, I made my own ricotta cheese for the first time and decided to do this dish to use it. It's weird eating things you make yourself. The bread that evening, the cheese, the sauce were all homemade. It feels honest and good. Weird huh? Oh, it's also delicious.

Again, greatly diminished color and depth a'la Aminus3. Any answers would be appreciated.
