Sesachacha MistsPosted by Henry (Fall River, United States) on 21 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This is a troublesome shot and I'm not sure how Aminus3 will handle it. It is a shot of Sesachacha Pond on Nantucket. In an ironic twist, the printed image always looks better than the image on screen. So, I'll roll the dice here and see what I get... I like the minimalist approch with the water and the sky almost melting and the twigs making an abstract drawing . The colors of sunrise (or sunset) are wonderful and make a lot for the atmosphere. 1 Jun 2008 6:16am malahat from Iranwaaaaaaowwwwww... so nice ... realy 1 Jun 2008 7:32am Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United StatesI think that it turned out great... love the softness and colours... very serene and peaceful... 2 Sep 2008 4:55pm @Fliss: Thank you very much for your kind compliment. I have a problem with colours in photographs. If I don't like the predominant colours it puts me off the pic itself but even though I'm NOT a 'pink' girl - this I love. 14 Jul 2009 11:16am @Amber: Thank you Amber. The morning I took this photo, I had a Kiwi in tow. I had gone to this place to shoot the small town of Polpis which lay across this pond. The mist made that impossible, so we worked with the mist instead. |
