Polpis Across Sesachacha

This is a view of the tiny Nantucket hamlet of Polpis from across Sesachacha Pond. There are beautiful sunrises here. On this morning the mist didn't clear as nicely as I had hoped.

@Margie: It is just a "bycatch" photo. I think it lacks a unifying element or focal point for it to be included in my normal work. I like the color range and feeling so I include it here but not on my website or in the show.

@akarui: I'm kind of startled about the reaction people have with this image. It was almost a throw-away image for me. Pleasant colors, but I thought it lacked definite composition or a "subject" element. Thank you for you comment!

The composition is simple but well balanced with the horizon in the middle and symetrie on each side, the blue sky has the same shape than the foreground... You have red - yellow- blue and green which is quite good colors combination. This make a very pleasing picture to look at...
