Brant Point SolitudePosted by Henry (Fall River, United States) on 2 April 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Early one morning I made my way to Brant Point on Nantucket to watch the sun rise. When I first arrived I looked at the lighthouse from a distance and noticed a woman there watching the sunrise as well. I decided not to invade her solitude, but I did shoot this photo. I walked back to my car to grab some more photo equipment. On the walk back to the lighthouse I passed the woman as she was leaving and she had such a genuine smile on her face. We both greeted each other with "Good morning" and went on our way. I wish I knew who she was so I could give her a copy of this photo.
