Built in 1686 the Jethro Coffin House is Nantucket's oldest home. It is the only remaining structure from Nantucket's original English settlement. It sits on a gentle rise called "Sunset Hill" just a few moments drive or a short walk from downtown.
I've shot the home several times and this is my favorite photo. It was a cool misty morning and the peacefulness of the photo does not betray the fact that I was being set upon and attacked by hordes of aggressive mosquitos!
As always your comments are greatly appreciated.

You captured this historical landmark very nicely. Great framing and I like the morning air. I have never researched it but have seen before the angle of the roofs of these old structures. Your image raises my curiosity. It was humorous to hear about the mosquitos. Amazing what we will tolerate for a great photo.
