Lighthouse, Sao Miguel Azores

Posted by Henry (Fall River, United States) on 16 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I was driving around the island with some local friends. It was a very hot summer and the weather that week caused the ocean to have a mist on it almost every day. I saw the lighthouse clinging to the side of the cliff and the ocean behind it disappearing into the sky and I knew I needed to get a shot of it. I had only my Nikon F2 and one lens but I am happy with the shot. This is a scan of the original photo.
