Archway, MontrealPosted by Henry (Fall River, United States) on 9 March 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. I've spent a lot of time in Montreal. My great grandparents were Quebecois and had emigrated to the USA, so I have an affinity for Quebec. Unfortunately, I've only taken my pro photography gear there once. That was my last trip. Afterward, the American dollar started to slide and my two daughters were born and I haven't been back in several years. On my last trip I visited the old section of the city and brought along my Nikon F2. I had always wanted to photograph this archway near Place D'Arms and I was happy that is was a perfectly overcast day to take photos in the old city.
